Originally the fish were going to swim in place while the background moved behind them (like a treadmill!) but as they were facing different directions, it made more sense to actually have them moving across the plane.

Deep sea creature research! I kept them as outlines to make the animations easier.

Lettering tests with a brush pen as well as a ball point. After some clean up, some of them made it into the final.
